What Is Causing Your Dark Armpits?
Dark armpits can affect anyone regardless of age, sex, color or nationality. For us women, it tends to be a greater problem because of our need to feel beautiful and desirable to our male counterparts.
Before I whitened my armpits, I used to wonder what was causing them to be dark. In the beginning I actually thought I was just not paying enough attention to my armpits, so I would scrub them so hard that sometimes they would actually hurt.
When I started researching into the subject I realized that it was not that I was not practicing proper hygiene, so I stopped being embarrassed it. If you have been beating yourself down because you are thinking that you are dirty or not washing your armpits the way you should, you should relax. There are other reasons why your underarms would appear dark, besides it being about hygiene.
One of the major reasons is shaving. Shaving basically cuts off the hair at the top, which leaves the hair under the skin. If you have a light complexion, the dark hair under your skin is going to make the skin on your armpits dark.
We women tend to like wearing tight clothes, because we feel sexier when we our bodies are exposed and we are wearing body hugging clothes. The problem with this is that the clothes may also get tight around the armpits, causing rubbing or
friction on our armpits. This can cause our armpits to darken.
Some people's skins is more sensitive than the average skin, and therefore it reacts to the kind of deodorant that they use. If your skin is like that, then the deodorant you are using also contributes to your armpits looking dark.
Other causes may include infections on the skin or a skin condition like hyper pigmentation.
Whatever the cause may be for your dark armpits, there are ways to get rid of the dark armpits and lighten the underarms, making you feel great again to expose them.
