Importance and methods of mobile recycling

Actions must be taken to stop the e-waste problem from getting worse. One of the best solutions for electronic waste is recycling. Recycling means either reuse them or use its components for further production.
Why mobile recycling is must?
Like electronic waste management and electronics waste recycling, mobile recycling is also need of this time of technological revolution. If used in better manner, mobile components are obvious source of reproduction but if they are thrown in garbage, they are source of carcinogens and toxics. Where almost 70% of recycling is desired, only 18% of mobiles are recycled every year in developed country like USA. Mobiles of more than 100 grams usually contain 20 grams of lead in addition with other materials like gold and copper. Furthermore it contains toxins like mercury, cadmium, and chromium. These materials and toxins are hazardous to landfills, atmosphere and even to us. So something must be done to avoid their addition in environment.  One solution is to reuse them if they are in reusable condition or just recycled their

components which can be recycled. It means that we can at least reduce danger caused by this electronic waste.
Methods of mobile recycling
There are so many methods, which can be considered as options for mobile recycling. One of them is donating your used mobiles rather than throwing them in garbage. Another thing you can do is to contact companies which offer recycled products before buying new one. There are some companies which offer this kind of recycled items. Company like Motorola offer free recycling. They also offer to pick up your old and provide you with vouchers for your future purchase. More options are like exchanging old items with newer one and corporate recycling. Corporate recycling means contacting manufacturing companies to recycle your items.
